Philip, so, what do you have to say about this? That..to many Koreans, "I'm Okay" sounds like "yes"? Also, are there other expressions that's similar to this? Like, the sentence is NOT a negative sentence but actually means rejection or refusal or denial?

Could you give us a couple of expressions for, let's say, 3 to 4 different levels of rejection or refusal, from polite to strong, with situations?

Situation:
Refusal Level 1: Casual / between friends
A: Do you want syrup?
B: Not really. / No thank you. / Nope, I’ll pass OR I’ll skip it I don't want it.

Refusal Level 2: Official / at work
A: (Visiting business partner's company) Thanks for coming. Would you like a brief tour around the company?
B: Thank you for the offer, but.... (Philip, please add 1 or 2 other expressions)
That’s very kind but that’s okay/there’s no need.
I appreciate the offer but that’s okay.

Refusal Level 3: Street vendor or cult on the street
A: Ma'am/sir, please just buy one for me. It's good quality!
B: (Philip, please add 1 or 2 other expressions)
No thanks.
I’ll pass on that.

Refusal Level 4: Being forced
A: (Grabbing my shoulder) Things will get ugly if you don't do as I say.
B: (Philip, please add 1 or 2 other expressions)
Get off me. Don’t touch me. Get away from me. (These are not really “rejections” though).

4) Summary

Would you like syrup? Do you want syrup?
Phlip: I’m okay / I’m good.

Tae:
Philip: Okay. / Sure thanks.

Tae: I’m okay 는 아니 괜찮아.

Would you like to take a look around the company?

Philip: That’s very kind but, that’s okay.

Sir, would you buy this gum? Just 천원. Please?
Philip: No thanks. I’ll pass on that.

Hey, just do as I say if you don’t wanna get hurt.
Philip: Get off me. Don’t touch me. Get away from me
