Gwangju International Tea Culture Exhibition at Gwangju Kimdaejung Convention Center
The 2014 Gwangju International Tea Culture Exhibition and Bitgoeul Handmade Fair will be held from May 29th to June 4th at the Kimdaejung Convention Center.
A total of 260 tea producers and brewers from 12 countries will take part in the upcoming Gwangju International Tea Culture Exhibition and traditional teas grown in Korea, China and Japan will be introduced at the exhibition, along with tea sets made in different countries.
Korea’s traditional tea products and ceramic tea sets made by Gwangju-based ceramic master, Mr. Seo Min-soo and his counterparts in Jeollanamdo, as well as the Icheon (이천) area of Gyeongi Province and Gyeongju in North Gyeongsang province, will be on display.
In addition, some 95 local handicraft workshops in Gwangju will display various traditional handicraft items, ranging from Korean traditional paper of Hanji, woodcraft, ceramics, soaps made with natural substances and various accessories at the Bitgoeul Handmade Fair.
