New Gwangju Mayor Yoon Jang-hyun to Begin Preparation for New Gwangju
Newly elected Gwangju Mayor, Yoon Jang-hyun will reportedly launch a 'Transition Team' that will focus on effective communication and networking.
New mayor Yoon emphasized that the transition team will feature voices from all walks of life and focus on horizontal communication among public officials in Gwangju.
Coming from a background of civil movement activism, mayor Yoon is expected to break with authoritarian attitudes when dealing with administrative matters.
The transition committee will be composed of policy counselors to prepare for policies that will offer a base for administrative principles under the new mayor.
