Visitors to Suncheon Bay Garden Surpasses 3 Million Mark

The total number of visitors to Suncheon Bay Garden since its re-opening on April 20th this year has surpassed the 3 million mark.

Recording a daily average of visitors at 16,000 on weekdays and 31,000 tourists on weekends, the total accumulated travelers to the Suncheon Bay Garden was tallied at 3 million as of yesterday.

Suncheon city officials have announced that more than 80 percent of the visitors to Suncheon Bay Garden and its vast bay area are from outside Jeollanamdo and mostly composed of family members.

In the meantime, the city of Suncheon will decorate the Suncheon Bay and its garden area with Christmas themed decorations for the winter season.
