Jeollanamdo Aimed at Attracting 1,000 Business Enterprises to the Province for Four years
Jeollanamdo has reportedly set a target goal of creating 26,000 new jobs in the province through attracting 1,000 business enterprises to Jeollanamdo over the next 4 years under the leadership of the governor, Lee Nak-yeon.
Jeollanamdo has announced that it recently finished an 'Investment Attraction Master Plan' that specifies detailed plans for the creation of jobs in the business sector.
The target areas for the creation of new jobs include Gwangju and the Jeollanamdo Joint Innovation City in Naju Bitgaram and an energy valley that will be constructed in the Bitgaram city along with Automobile Tuning facilities in Yeongam near the Korea International Circuit.
Provincial expenditure for attracting different business corporations will be expanded from the previous 1 billion won to 6 billion won.
