Task Force Team for the Recovery of Sunken Sewol Ferry to Begin from the 27th
A task force team for the recovery of the sunken ferry, Sewol will be launched and begin official operation from November 27th.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries reportedly established a task force team made up of 23 governmental and civil experts, who will be in charge of the recovery and its aftermath process.
The newly established team will hold its first meeting on the morning of November 27th and will be in charge of investigating details on tide speed and geographical conditions at the spot were the ferry capsized and sank near Jindo Island.
Comprised of a technological analysis team and a support team with experts from various research institutions and civil organizations as well as governmental figures, the task force team will also function as the main communication tool with the families of the victims concerning the sunken ferry.
