Jindo Arirang Festival to open in the 31st of October.

진도아리랑축제 31일 개막…송가인 등 미스트롯 축하쇼도

The Jindo Arirang Festival will be hosted for 4 days starting from the 31^st of October to commemorate the 44^th Jindo Citizen’s Day which is on the 1^st of November.

On Citizen’s Day, famous singers will participate in the county’s singing contest. In the morning the parade will start and about 2000 people including a military band will join. A Gukak performance and celebration of Miss. Trot will be hosted as well. For Miss. Trot, Song Ga In (송가인), Jung Mi Eh (정미애), Jung Da Gyeong (정다경), Kim So Yu (김소유) will perform.

Since Jindo is the hometown of the famous trot singer Song Ga In, they are expecting many visitors to the town.
