2045년 65세 이상 인구 비율, 광주 35%·전남 45%
According to
the Honam Statistical Office the number of senior citizens older than 65 will
be 35 percent of the total population in Gwangju and 45 percent for Jeonnam by
2045.
To be exact,
Gwangju will see an increase of 35.2 percent, which is triple the current
status at 12.9 percent, and Jeonnam with 45.3 percent which is twice as much as
right now with 22.3 percent.
As the
mortality rate increases, the elder maintenance percentages, which are
percentages of elders per 100 economically active population (15~64), will jump
from 17.6 people to 64.4 by 2045.
For the
province, it will enlarge from 34.1 to 97.3. It can also translate as the
population between the ages of 15 to 64 will be equal to those 65 and older.
Lastly,
one-person households aged 65 and older will increase from 6.5 to 15.8 percent
in Gwangju by 2045 and from 13.8 to 24.2 percent for Jeonnam.
