Jeollanamdo to Attract Vacationers in Local Farming Regions
Jeollanamdo will carry out promotional activities in Seoul and capital regions to attract potential vacationers to local farming villages in Jeollanamdo.
A total of 20 districts in Jeollanamdo will take part in the ‘Farming Village Summer Vacation Festival’ hosted by the Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation until June 29th to promote major tourist attractions in Jeollanamdo, which are themed after farming life.
A variety of experience oriented programs including clam craft, dyeing handkerchiefs with natural materials, and making organic bread and chocolate will be held in different farming villages in Jeollanamdo.
In addition, farming and specialty product markets selling eco-friendly grains, Korean traditional paste, and cypress tree-made products will be in operation throughout the summer in Jeollanamdo.
