infection, 2 additional cases found within Gwangju
There was a COVID 19 infection
case found within Jeonnam's Jangsung(장성) region where a patient was in the process of
admission into a nursing hospital.
Followed by the Jangsung(장성) case, there were 2 who had
made contact with that patient who were additionally infected within Gwangju
City.
According to the disinfection
authorities on Oct. 22nd, there was a resident of Gwangju who was confirmed to
be infected in Jangsung(장성) during the day. Therefore, they were classified as
Jeonnam's 179th patient.
As a result, Gwangju City
conducted an enumeration study on all who made contact with the patient, and 2
relatives who made contact with the Jangsung(장성) case were confirmed to be infected.
Also, Gwangju had 2 overseas
influx cases found during the day as well.
