students at Chonnam(전남) and Chosun(조선) Universities dramatically reduced due to 'COVID 19'
The
number of overseas students has decreased at Chonnam(전남) and Chosun(조선) Universities.
This
is due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic that foreign students' entrance has
been deterred these days.
According
to Chonnam(전남) and Chosun(조선) Universities on Oct. 28th, there were 872 overseas students at
Chonnam(전남) University as of Oct. 1st.
As
for the graduate students, there were 779, and 54 exchange students were
recorded. In total, there are 1,705 overseas students within the school which
is 280 less than last year.
As
for Chosun(조선) University, there are 346
undergraduates, 150 in the graduate schools, 1 exchange student, and 85
language learning students.
In
total, this makes 582, which is 512 less students than last year's 1,094, a
decrease of almost half.
