Gwangju City to operate crackdown on nightlife facilities during Halloween

Gwangju City revealed on Oct. 29th that there will be a crackdown on nightlife facilities within the city during Halloween.

This is between Oct. 30th and 31st that the crackdown will be conducted to prevent possible transmission of the COVID 19 virus.

As concerns are rising for possible cluster infections of the virus with more nightlife users expected during Halloween, there will be 43 public officers mobilized for the crackdown.

Therefore, the 43 public officers in each municipality and the police will be formed into 13 divisions to inspect the popular areas.

These include Old City Hall, Sangmu(상무) District, and Cheomdan(첨단) District areas.
