Distancing measures' after 35 regional transmission cases in 1 week
Gwangju City is reinforcing its disinfection measures to
level 1.5 equivalent Social Distancing measures.
This is to prevent further spread of COVID 19 as there
was a large amount of regional transmission within just one week.
Lee YongSeob(이용섭), the Gwangju City mayor
revealed as such on Nov. 15th at the COVID 19 briefing that "the COVID 19
responsive Social Distancing measures will be kept at the 1st level. However,
there will be reinforcements of disinfection measures in effect from Nov. 16th."
Despite the level 1.5 elevation standards of regional
transmission of 10 cases per day not yet being met, there were various
infection cases found in multiple places.
Including the cluster infection cases found in Cheonnam(전남) University Hospital and others, the accumulated patients within
the region total 560 now.
This is with 35 regional transmission cases found within
just one week, with South Korea's CSAT Examination just 17 days ahead.
