18th Truth Investigation Committee's first onsite investigation to "seek
missing persons"
The
May 18th Truth Investigation Committee had initiated its first onsite
investigation in Gwangju after 11 months of its launch.
The
Committee visited the graveyard of the May 18th victims who have no family or
relationships.
This was to look for traces of the missing people from 40
years ago.
Therefore, there were 3 victims' bones extracted out from
the May 18th National Cemetery on Nov. 19th.
