Government Seeks Yeosu Expo Facility Operator

The national government will seek to find a main operator of the Yeosu Expo facility and its leisure sites for the third time since the closing of the 2012 Yeosu World Expo.

According to the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries and the 2012 Yeosu World Expo Foundation, it will recruit a main operator of the tourism and leisure facilities in the Yeosu Expo site from June 30th to September 15th,

Yeosu Expo Foundation previously finalized the post-utilization plan of the expo site on September 5th, 2012, aiming to attract private investors for the main operation of the expo.

During two rounds of public notice for sales of the expo site, no investor or private corporation was selected.
