City ranked 1st within Jeonnam(전남) region for
city-competitiveness
Jeonnam's Suncheon(순천)
City was ranked 1st in the evaluation of the Korea Local-Autonomy
Competitiveness Indices.
This was according to
the Korea Institute for Public Autonomy on Nov. 25th that the general
competitiveness evaluation marked the Suncheon(순천) region as
no. 1.
This year was the
25th time the survey was taken, through which 226 cities, counties, and
districts across the country were evaluated for their current status in local
competitiveness.
The 4 months of
research began in June, during which the current status as well as changing
trends were analyzed for political utilization.
There were some
40,000 official statistical resources used as the basic database to analyze 80
indexes for the data analysis.
Therefore, excellent
municipalities were selected in 3 fields including management support,
management activities, and management achievements.
