Gwangju City operating emergency shifts for heavy snow

Gwangju City issued a heavy snow advisory for the first time this winter with Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters beginning operation immediately.

Also, there were snow removal processes by the administrative body today.

This is according to the City on Dec. 30th that there were 16.1cm of accumulated snowfall as of noon today.

Therefore, the Disaster Safety Countermeasures Headquarters began operation immediately with an emergency shift system conducted.

There were some 320 personnel mobilized for snow removal on the roads and situation management.
