The number of
tourists who visited Yeosu(여수) last year were counted at 8.72 million.
This is
according to Yeosu(여수) City on Jan. 13th that due to the impact of the COVID
19 pandemic, the total number of visitors decreased by 35.6%.
This is compared
to a total of 13.54 million tourists in 2019.
The total number
of tourists decreased, but non-contact tourism sites had a rise in the number
of tourists.
These are at
islands and camping sites such as Geomundo(거문도) Island and others.
