Jeonnam's YeongAhm(영암) region is
continuing to have chain transmission cases of COVID19 related to a
temple and a sweet potato farm.
This is as there were 7 additional

far.
Among these 7, 6 are YeongAhm(영암) residents who
are related to GwanEum(관음) Temple and to a sweet-potato
farm.
Therefore, there are further
investigations ongoing regarding their exact routes of transportation.
As for Gwangju City, there were
only 2 infected patients found yesterday to total 1,471 cases within the region
so far.
In the meantime, there were onsite
diagnostic tests conducted in Jeonnam's Goheung(고흥) area for
foreign laborers.
This was between Jan. 18th and
19th that 249 foreigner laborers were tested for COVID19.
Therefore, all foreigners in small
group facilities including those that were residing illegally were tested
onsite.
All have tested negative for the
virus so far, and it was stressed once more that illegally residing foreigners
can be tested anonymously.
