Gwangju City operating General Situation Room during Lunar New Year

Holiday

Gwangju City will be operating a general situation room during the Lunar New Year holiday. This is to respond to COVID19 and emergency situations as well as to alleviate possible inconveniences experienced by citizens.

Therefore, from Feb. 11th until the 14th, there will be 7 divisions including general situation, medical, traffic, environment and cleaning, citizens and fire safety and others operated.

Also, there will be temporary screening clinics operated in each of the district offices as well as at city hall for normal operation as well.

In the meantime, Jeonnam Province also revealed that there will be 'Environment and Forest Lunar New Year's Holidays Countermeasures' operated.

This is to reinforce its monitoring for environmental polluting activities and prevent possible pollution accidents. Therefore, special monitoring activities will be conducted at industrial complexes and vulnerable facilities.
