Life Style Cultural Facilities to be Constructed in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo
A variety of cultural facilities to meet the cultural and artistic needs of the citizens will be constructed in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo.
A total of six cultural facilities will be constructed in two spots in Gwangju and 4 places in Jeollanamdo at Gwangsan Culture Center, Seogu Nongseong Cultural House, Yeosu’s Artistic Village and Hwasun Culture Center and Hwasun Resident’s Governance Center.
For the respective projects, a total of 9.7 billion won will be invested in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo for the rest of the year.
The planned cultural facilities will be transformed into a dance hall, a media room, a small-scale movie theatre, a life sports space, and a cultural café to promote cultural and artistic activities in the daily lives of the citizens in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo.
