Gwangju with COVID19 66 patients treated at home

Gwangju City decided to extend home-treatment for COVID19 infection considering the transmission trends.

According to the City on the 2nd, there are 377 beds out of an available 611 treatment beds currently in use, 61.7% of the total. Therefore, compared to other regions with more serious conditions, there is some capacity left.

However, considering the current transmission trend across the country and in preparation for a spike in the number of patients, the City decided to review home-treatment with a more proactive view.

As of 2pm in the afternoon, there are 66 patients undergoing treatment at home in the city.

Also, there were 33 additional patients found in the afternoon as of 2pm including 10 more cases related to the choir group in the Donggu(동구) district.
