Gwangju attracts
World Archery Championships, 2038 Asian Games attempted
Gwangju City confirmed its successful bid for the 2025 World
Archery Championships, with an attempt underway to attract the 2038 Asian Games as
well.
According to the City on the 6th, the World Archery Federation
confirmed the 2025 World Archery Championships to be held in Gwangju, which had
been competing with Spain’s Madrid.
Therefore, there will be some 1,100 athletes and executive members
participating from 90 countries from Sept. 5th until the 12th in 2025.
Also, the 2038 Asian Games joint attraction attempts are ongoing with
Gwangju and Daegu(대구) Cities currently, drawing
attention.
