광주시, 6월 9일 철거건물 붕괴참사 추모일 지정 추진

Gwangju City promoting June 9th as the Memorial Day for the Demolition Building Collapse

Gwangju City is promoting June 9th as the Memorial Day to remember the Demolition Building Collapse Victims.

This is according to the City on the 11th at a Comprehensive Plan Presentation which was held to support the building collapse victims and reinforce safety management.

There are measures under review to hold memorial events on June 9th every year for the victims, starting next year to mark the 1st anniversary of the accident.

Also, the City plans to legalize related bylaws for Social Disaster Rescue and Restoration Support as well.
