Jeonnam(전남) Muan(무안) Duck Farm with highly pathogenic AI suspected case found

The Avian Influenza or AI Central Headquarters revealed yesterday that a duck farm in Jeonnam’s Muan(무안) region has a suspected case.

Therefore, the Headquarters is undergoing a thorough inspection, with it taking 1 to 3 days to learn whether the case was highly pathogenic.

There are some 29,000 ducks being raised at the farm, with the authorities undergoing disinfection measures to control access to the farm and cull the animals in advance as well as conducting epidemiology studies.
