Gwangju Chungjang(충장) Festival steps up as World Festival

Gwangju’s Donggu(동구) district revealed on the 15th that the ChungJang(충장) Festival is stepping up to become a world-class festival with 2 billion won of subsidies from Gwangju City.

Therefore, moving forward from the regional festival which was operated centering in the Donggu(동구) district including the Asia Culture Center and ChungJangro(충장로) and Geumnamro(금남로) roads, there will be bigger platforms to develop the festival in a wider range.

The project fund increase of 1 billion won will enable the festival to retain its previous identity, attract more foreign tourists, and prepare more new attractions as well.
