'Sporadic transmission continues', Gwangju with 44, Jeonnam 58 new patients found

The Gwangju and Jeonnam regions are continuing with sporadic transmission with 102 new patients found in 1 day.

According to the health authorities on the 16th, there were 44 new patients found in Gwangju yesterday. These included 7 additional cases related to a middle school located in the Gwangsangu(광산구) district where cluster tranmission occurred.

Therefore, 34 cases have been related to the middle school so far.

Also, 4 schools had enumeration tests due to sporadic transmission that continued between students.

As for the Jeonnam region, there were 58 new patients found from 19 cities and counties, including 11 from Suncheon(순천), and 6 from each from Mokpo(목포), Naju(나주),  and Boseong(보성).
