Gwangju 54, Jeonnam 69 patients found from multiple transmission clusters

The Gwangju and Jeonnam regions are continuing to experience cluster transmission with a total of 123 new patients yesterday.

According to the health authorities on the 24th, there were 54 new patients found in Gwangju yesterday.

These include 30 who are related to Donggu(동구) district's public institution where chain transmission has been occurring.

There are 9 patients who are confirmed to be Omicron variant cases with 21 more that are epidemiologically relevant.

As for the Jeonnam region, there were 69 new patients including 13 from Suncheon(순천), 10 from Mokpo(목포), and 8 from both Yeosu(여수) and Hwasun(화순).
