Chonnam(전남) Univ. Hospital to establish Cardiovascular, Infectious Diseases Specialized Clinical Center

Chonnam(전남) University Hospital's Cardiovascular and Infectious Diseases Specialized Clinical Center establishment has been confirmed, speeding up the new hospital construction.

The establishment of the Chonnam(전남) University Hospital Specialized Clinical Center passed through the plenary session of the National Assembly recently after the Budget Settlement Committee's review.

Therefore, the project is ultimately confirmed.

Previously, there was a decision to newly construct and extend the hospital's wards for 1,500 treatment beds using the current location and the old medical university site.

The project will be completed by 2030.
