Gwangju Jeonnam with various routes of transmission
including Omicron variant cases
The Gwangju and Jeonnam regions are continuing with
regional transmission from various routes of origin including the Omicron
variant.
According to the health authorities
on the 27th, there were 45 new patients found in Gwangju and 32 in the Jeonnam
region as of 6pm in the evening.
The 77 new cases from both regions bring the total
cases to 7,734 cases in Gwangju and 5,925 in the Jeonnam region so far.
As for Omicron cases, they are on the rise in the
Gwangju and Jeonnam regions as well.
So far, there have been 18 confirmed cases of Omicron
variant patients in Gwangju and 27 in the Jeonnam region, totaling 45.
