Gwangju Jeonnam with cluster transmission continuing with 123 new patients

The Gwangju and Jeonnam regions are continuing with sporadic COVID19 transmission with Omicron variant cases increasing as well.

According to the health authorities on the 29th, there were 82 new patients added in Gwangju City as of 6pm in the evening.

Also, in the Jeonnam region, 41 more cases were found, totaling 7,921 cases in Gwangju and 6,011 cases in the Jeonnam region so far.

Gwangju's cases include 7 related to an elementary school in Namgu(남구) district as well as other 25 cases related to other regions and 28 patients related to previous patients.

As for Jeonnam's cases, the 41 cases included 9 from Suncheon(순천) and 5 from Yeosu(여수).
