Jeonnam with 74 towns with names relevant to 'tigers'

Jeonnam Province revealed on the 3rd that there were a total of 74 regions within the province with names relevant to 'tigers.'

This is according to a survey of regional names to greet the new year of 'Imin-nyeon(임인년)' or the Year of Imin(임인), the tiger.

Therefore, the Jeonnam region recorded the most in the country with 74 relevant town names, followed by GyeongBuk(경북)'s 71 and Jeonbuk(전북)'s 52.

As for the cities and counties, YeongAm(영암) County recorded the most with 8 including Hodeung(호등) Mt. which means the tiger-shaped mountain.

Also, Yeosu(여수) recorded 7, followed by Suncheon(순천), Naju(나주), Goheung(고흥), Boseong(보성), and ShinAn(신안) with 6 each.
