Gwangju Bukgu(북구) 'Citizens Leap Road' establishment promoted, Mt. Mudeung(무등) to YeongSan(영산) River

Gwangju’s Bukgu(북구) district is officially promoting the 'Citizens Leap Road Establishment Project.' This is a road from Mt. Mudeung(무등) to the Yeongsan(영산) River.

The Bukgu(북구) district revealed on the 5th that an ecofriendly trail will be established from Mt. Mudeung(무등)'s Gunwangbong(군왕봉) area through Mt. Samgak(삼각), Ilgokdong(일곡동), Hansaebong(한새봉), Mt. Maegok(매곡), and Mt. Unam(운암) to the Yeongsan(영산) River.

The project will begin this year and will be divided into 3 phases of short-term, medium-term and long-term plans.

Therefore, until 2023, Bukgu(북구) district will be establishing a trekking path some 5.5km long from the top of Mt. Samgak(삼각) through Ilgokdong(일곡동) and Hansaebong(한새봉) to Ildong(일동) Middle School.
