Naju(나주) Child Facility with Cohort Quarantine measures, 171 patients found in Gwangju and Jeonnam

The Gwangju and Jeonnam regions recorded 171 new patients yesterday, and cohort-quarantine measures are underway at a children’s facility from cluster transmission.

According to the health authorities on the 9th, there were 99 new patients in Gwangju and 72 in the Jeonnam region as of 6pm yesterday.

Therefore, a total of 171 patients were found, with a total of 8,880 patients in Gwangju and 6,772 in the Jeonnam region so far.

Moreover, there were 21 patients found from a nursing hospital located in Gwangju’s Donggu(동구) district as well as 11 from a Child Welfare Facility located in the Naju(나주) region.

Jeonnam's cases included 28 from Mokpo(목포), 19 from Naju(나주), and 8 from Hampyeong(함평).
