Jeonnam Province urged for all residents'
proactive participation in the 'All Residents Temporary Halt Movement' on the
10th.
This is considering the steep increase
in the number of daily cases found in the Jeonnam region recently with an average
of 81 daily patients.
According to the Province, 40% of the southwestern
region's patients are suspected to be Omicron variant cases, with raised
concerns of transmission to the whole region.
Therefore, Jeonnam Province decided to
operate the 'All Residents Temporary Halt Movement' until the coming Lunar New
Year holiday.
During the period, all residents must
undergo diagnostic tests even with just mild cold symptoms and wear KF94 masks
both indoors and outdoors at all times.
