Gwangju City Mayor, "All options on the table for Mt. Mudeung(무등) Access”
Gwangju City Mayor Lee YongSeob(이용섭) said on the 10th that "All options are
on the table for making a decision," regarding improvements of access to Mt.
Mudeung(무등).
Lee said during the day that "There
will be official discussions at the Gwangju Grand Transition Special Committee
which launched at the end of last year."
Lee furthered with, "Once the
Committee decides and suggests, the City will have a review in another
step."
Mayor Lee explained that "Mt.
Mudeung(무등) serves the
mother-mountain role of Gwangju City, and many people agree that access to the
mountain should be facilitated. However, there is an underlying premise that no
environmental damage should occur."
