Court decides for dismissal of claim for Cheon DooHwan(전두환)'s May 18th Deceased Defamation Trial

The Court decided to dismiss the claim for the May 18th criminal trial of deceased former President Cheon DooHwan(전두환).

According to the Gwangju District Court’s 1st Criminal Division on the 10th, Cheon's death back on Nov. 23rd last year dismisses the claim according to Criminal Trial Laws.

This was decided 48 days after Cheon died.

However, the trial of Cheon's son Cheon JaeGook(전재국) is continuing.
