Gwangju Culture Foundation to Recruit ‘Family A Cappella’

Until July 8th, the Gwangju Culture Foundation will be recruiting 30 family members who wish to participate in the ‘Family A Cappella’ program that is part of the ‘Rainbow Project’, which aims to help multicultural families adapt to life in Korea.

Organized and sponsored by the Gwangju Culture Foundation and the Multicultural Family Support Center in Gwangju, participating family members of the music group will be given free two hour a cappella classes every Thursday from July 10th to November 20th.

The newly formed Family A Cappella group will be given opportunities to take part in international festivals, such as the Vocal Asia A Cappella Festival, which features the participation of A Cappella music groups from six Asian countries, as well as the local Rainbow Festival.

Any family in Gwangju can submit their application for participation through the ‘Culture Share’ Team at the Gwangju Culture Foundation or Cultural Community, ‘Ahwooreum(아우름)’.
