Daegu Mayor and City Councilors to Visit Gwangju for May 18th Ceremony
Some 150 personnel from Daegu, led by Daegu Mayor Gwon Yeong-jin and city councilors, will visit Gwangju to attend the May 18th Memorial Ceremony on May 18th.
Gwangju Mayor Yoon Jang-hyeon and his counterpart in Daegu, Gwon Yeong-jin, will attend the inaugural ceremony of the Dalbit Alliance Civil and Public Cooperation Committee.
The committee will function to facilitate cooperation between Gwangju and Daegu in the areas of economics, culture and tourism.
Officials from Daegu headed by mayor Gwon Yeong-jin will also visit the National Gwangju Science Museum, Chungjangro and Geumnamro Streets as well as the Gwangju Daesang Park-located ‘Forest for Daegu Citizens’ which was created along with the ‘Forest for Gwangju Citizens’ in Daegu’s Duryu Park.
