Gwangju Social Welfare Center to open on May 22nd

Fulfilling a long-cherished wish of 20 thousand social welfare people in Gwangju region, the Gwangju Social Welfare Center opened last Friday, the 22nd.

According to city of Gwangju yesterday, 1 billion, 1 hundred and 64 million won of budget was spent in the remodeling of the old veterans hall, which has one basement floor and two floors above the ground.

The social welfare council and association of social workers will move into the renovated welfare center soon.

The city of Gwangju announced that the welfare center will provide room for sharing of information and high-class welfare service to meet the various demands for the welfare of Gwangju citizens.
