Plans for the Opening Ceremony of the Universiade Revealed
Leading up to the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade, to be held from July 3rd to the 14th, organizers have begun preparation for the opening ceremony that will mark the grand opening of the biggest sporting event to ever be held in Gwangju.
A presentation to introduce the opening ceremony that is scheduled to be held on July 3rd will be hosted in Seoul at the Plaza Hotel today from 11 a.m. with the participation of the head of the organizing committee, Kim Hwang-sik, and the general director of the ceremony, Park Myeong-seong.
Highly acclaimed singers and performers, such as a Gukak musician, Song So-hui, pop pera singer, Yim Hyeong-ju, and famous rock singer, Kim Gyeong-ho, will perform in the opening ceremony.
