The New Express City Bus Route to Gwangju Songjeong Station to Be Run
An express city bus route linking Chosun University and Gwangju Songjeong Station will be newly operated.
According to Gwangju Metropolitan City yesterday, express city bus route 02 will start its operation from today, connecting the Haeoreum Building of Chosun University and Dosandong of Gwangsangu District, where Songjeong station is located.
The 12 high quality limousine buses will make round trips 109 times a day at intervals of 14 to 20 minutes. Moreover, 10 more buses are scheduled to be in operation from mid-August, which will decrease the interval time to 9 to 12 minutes.
The 1,700 won bus route will make stops at major spots, such as Chosun University, the National Asian Culture Complex, Daein Market, Gwangju Station, Chonnam University Intersection, City Hall, the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center, the Airport, and Gwangju Songjeong Station.
