The Gwangju Big Tree Community to Carry Out Programs for Multi-cultural Families
A nonprofit and nongovernment organization in Gwangju, ‘Big Tree Community,’ or ‘Little Library of Five Colored Papers,’ has been carrying out various supporting businesses for local multi-cultural families.
The community has been pushing ahead since 2012 with businesses designed to share programs which can help people communicate with the second generation of multi-cultural families and protect human rights.
As part of the ‘2015 Local Multi-Culture Recognition Improvement Program,’ selected by Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, the community is set to carry out a shadow puppet performance and publish traditional fairy tale books for immigrants.
The businesses, which are aimed at Gwangju local multi-cultural families and elementary school students, will also translate traditional fairy tale books for immigrants into Chinese language and publish them as electronic books.
