The Goryeo Celadon Museum of Gangjin Promoted to Representative Tourist Attraction
The Goryeo Celadon Museum of Gangjin has been promoted to a representative tourist attraction of South Jeolla Province.
According to Gangjingun District, visits to the Museum seem to have increased as fears of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome have calmed down.
10,000 people have visited the museum following the construction of a complex tourism infrastructure, the opening of a folk painting museum, and the relocation of celadon shop.
The District is expecting that more tourists will visit the museum as the Ogamtong, where Gangjin’s taste, smartness, and pleasure can be enjoyed, opened this month and the Celadon Festival will be held next month.
Opened in 1997, the Celadon Museum has attracted almost 300,000 tourists every year.
