Experience Acting and Producing First Hand with a Film Director
The ‘On-site Film Making and Acting Experience Program’ targeting local youth interested in learning and experiencing movie production first hand will be held in Gwangju from August 11th to the 14th.
An established filmmaker who won the ‘new director’s award’ and the ‘excellent screen play award’ in the Daejong Film Festival and is also a Movie and Art professor at Sejong University, Lee Jeong-guk, has been invited to give lectures for participating students on ‘Acting and Film Production’ throughout the program.
The first day of the workshop program will feature basic lectures on digital film production and short films produced by adolescents as well as meetings for ideas on movies.
During the workshop program, audition will be held for actors to be in short films and movie staff for production, filming, recording and directing will be recruited among the participants.
A total of 30 students born between 1996 and 2011 will be eligible to take part in the workshop program free of charge.
