내달부터 전남 11개 시군 도시가스 요금 5.4% 인상
City Gas in Jeollanamdo to be Raised by 5.4 Percent Starting Next Month
City gas price in 11 districts out of a total 22 districts in Jeollanamdo will be raised by an average of 5.4 percent starting next month.
Mokpo, Yeongam, and Muan will raise their city gas prices by 7 percent and Suncheon, Gwangyang, and Yeongam will see a raise of 3 percent with Naju, Hwasun and five other regions raising prices by 5.4 percent starting next month.
Bucking the trend of higher prices, city gas price in Yeosu will be lowered by 4.5 percent starting next month.
Jeollanamdo explained that the average price of city gas has been increased by 5.4 percent in 11 respective regions in consideration of the inflation rate and since the distribution rate of urban gas in each household in Jeollanamdo is relatively low in Korea.
A total number of households that use city gas in Jeollanamdo is estimated to be 308,000.
